JERRY GLENN WARD

"an important new writer-performer who deserves to be heard"

that desperation is what caught my eye, when i found this gem. bringing it home a couple weeks ago was a great idea. the humbleness of jerry glenn is so awesome. i haven't been able to find anything on the internet about this man. but found some people selling this LP. Must be his only released effort. put out by mega records out of nashville, tennessee. but this is some good ol' folky-country songs. hokeyness starts to invade the songs at the end of the album, but methinks the first side and first half of the second are nice.

I bought this album on 8 track in 1974 or 75. It was on a discount table, but i read the label and said ok. I thought it was one of those one of a kind records. have not heard it in 30 years and still know some of the music.known many six packs of trouble since then. Pete

He's a Memphis cat. Mega was a freakin' great Nashville indie that started up in 1970, Jack & Misty, Sammi Smith, Henson Cargill, etc.

Jerry Glenn Ward might also have been the Jerry Ward who played with Jerry Jaye's (Hi Records artist, blue-eyed soul, etc) Jayewalkers: Tommy Baker-Bass 1967-68 / Jerry Ward-Bass/ Bobby Neal-Lead Guitar / Carl Fry-Drums-1967-68 / Roger Frey-Drums / Ben Jack-Steel Guitar / Robby Turner- Steel Guitar.

Any chance of a Re-up? I heard "movin' in" on bumrocks and fell in love. I've been looking but haven't turned anything up.

Hi.
I see that others ask for a re up load of this album. I just hope this message is getting through. I too would be very happy to hear this album again. Like the poster above it's been 20+ years since I heard the album but the great songs have stuck in my mind. Especially "Movin'In". If anyone knows anywhere else to download this album please leave a message.
I bought my copy on LP in the 70's on a dollar discount rack in Zanesville Ohio.
Any information of Jerry Glenn Ward please leave a message.

I heard this way back in the 70's love it! My boyfriend at that time gave me the Album. Throughout the years and relocating, I lost the album. About 10 years ago I determined to find it, which I did through a source in California. He was a great guy to work with he got me the album mint condition and made me a CD all for under $20.
Unfortunately, now I have misplace the CD can't find it anywhere and I'm despreatly looking for it. Anyone out there have it in CD? Brings back such good memories, days and nights at the beach, recording studios, ahhh the days long gone.

Found the 8-track on a discount table and loved it back in the 70s. I sold all my 8-tracks and wish I had kept this one. I tracked down an LP in France a few years ago, but want to put it on CD.

I haven't heard this album in many years. I was very surprised to see this as I have longed to hear the songs on this album. I am glad I still remember all the words.
